The TruBore's defining characteristic is a straight tube through the center, which dramatically affects the response on the open side of the instrument. Gently curving ports through the back of the valve allow a turn of approximately 60 degrees and quick, smooth lever action. The feel from the open horn to the engaged valve is amazingly continuous, with virtually no change of resistance.

The TruBore is not intended to replace the excellent rotary and axial flow valves we already offer, but simply to provide a third option. Because the complex porting of the TruBore requires a longer production time, it is priced slightly higher than our other valves
